Diesel Force DPF Cleaning

Is your commercial truck or bus not running well? Has it shut off completely? The diesel engine is at the heart of your fleet. Carbon builds up after normal usage. As a result, the efficiency decreases and shortens your engine’s lifespan. Diesel Force cleans your engine’s systems efficiently and affordably. It’s equivalent to a catalytic converter; it essentially cleans the exhaust gas from the diesel engine. The diesel force oil systems cleaner eliminates carbon, restoring cylinder integrity. Please call Middleton & Meads at 410-752-5588 or visit our shop in Baltimore, MD, for all the services you need. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaning Services in Maryland, Northern Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania

Exhaust Repairs

Think of Diesel Force Particulate as a catalytic converter; it cleans the exhaust gas coming out of the diesel engine. Known as DPF regeneration, this process involves professionally eliminating built-up soot and ash from a DPF within a vehicle’s exhaust system. It cleans the filter to restore its capacity to trap harmful particulate matter from diesel exhaust emissions and maintain maximum engine performance.

DPF Pressure Sensor Replacement

A DPF catches soot particles from diesel exhaust, and sensors survey the pressure difference across the filter to determine when it must regenerate (burn off the soot). The most critical sensor in this system is the differential pressure sensor, which calculates the pressure difference before and after the Diesel Force Particulate. During a sensor replacement, our technician removes the DPF from your heavy-duty truck or bus to remove built-up soot.

DEF Tank Cleaning

The Diesel Exhaust Fluid and DPF cleaning are both critical for the performance and efficiency maintenance of diesel engines. The DEF was made to make diesel engines run cleaner. Most commercial trucks have a DEF heating system to keep them functioning in frigid climates. If the DEF tank has been filled with something other than diesel exhaust fluid, drain and flush the tank with clean diesel exhaust fluid or deionized water. Then, fill the tank with fresh diesel exhaust fluid.

Signs of a Contaminated DEF Tank

  • The Check Engine light turns on when DEF is present in engine areas
  • There is an obvious increase in the amount of DEF used
  • Malfunctions in the SCR system – Old or contaminated and possibly expired diesel exhaust fluid will be noticeably cloudy

Benefits of a Clean DPF

Many commercial drivers pay more for downtime, breakdowns, and poor mileage. The benefits of your heavy-duty truck or bus undergoing a clean DPF include:

  • Enhanced vehicle performance
  • Strong fuel economy
  • Less downtime
  • Extended DPF lifespan
  • Experience fewer regenerations
  • Lower maintenance costs

Preventative maintenance of a DPF, a diesel particulate filter, is critical to reliable engine operation.
